We look at how Bitch will be celebrating its eighth birthday on September 27th.

Eight years is an awful long time, particularly in the world of clubbing, so it's been no mean feat then that Bitch is still going strong in Manchester's house music sphere. Having begun life by taking over the Sunday slot at Sankeys back in 2006, Bitch soon became renowned for its reliably big line ups and dedication to the freshest sounds in house music.
So far the Manchester clubbing giant has taken its sound to Leeds, London, Newcastle, Scotland and Northern Ireland, armed with guest appearances from the likes of Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sander Van Doorn, Laidback Luke, Eric Prydz, Eddie Halliwell, Mark Knight, Nervo, Michael Woods, Third Party and Chris Lake, to name just a few.
The big time rave purveyors understandably go all out for their eighth birthday party by welcoming back one of their favourite guests from the past year - Prok & Fitch to join them at Venus on September 27th for some unbridled birthday shenanigans.
The Brighton based duo certainly left an impression on the Bitch massive when they arrived there back in November last year, as the duo treated everyone in Venus to their trademark chunky house sounds, filled with heavy basslines, shuffling rhythms, and killer hooks. Just check out their latest podcast to see why the Bitch crowd have been so keen to get them back.
Elsewhere the Birthday party is bolstered by appearances from resident Lempo (check out his recent mix at Sankeys above), Chris J Frater, Gavin Bayley, We_are_ii and Andy Clarke. Grab your Bitch birthday tickets here.
