Blackpool Rocks Announces First Wave Of Acts

Blackpool's biggest indoor winter festival returns on December 20th, this time to the iconic Blackpool Tower. The festival that boasted the likes of Disclosure, The 1975 and Pete Tong last year has just announced the first three names to join them at their new home.

First of the new additions is multiple UK number one holder Duke Dumont (listen to one of those below), who in the past year or so has positioned himself as one of the country's most sought after exponents of deep, soulful and melodic house music.

His arrival in Blackpool follows on from a summer of headline appearances in Ibiza and across the UK, as well the incredibly successful launch of his Blasé Boys imprint. Expect plenty of dancefloor dynamite from the celebrated producer.

Following on from his cracking set at last year's edition of the festival, Trevor Nelson returns once again to Blackpool Rocks. His legendary radio shows and involvement in the music industry have positioned him as one of the biggest ambassadors of urban music currently working in the UK. His appearance for the festival again this year is set to be one of the highlights of the entire event.

Of course, Blackpool Rocks mastermind and Radio One dance music authority Danny Howard will be back to host the event - expect wall-to-wall dance anthems once he gets behind the decks. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
