Blackpool Rocks announce Martin Garrix

Blackpool Rocks have massively accelerated the hype in the lead up to the third release of tickets set to go on sale this Friday at 9am, with the announcement that dutch club behemoth, Martin Garrix will headline the event on Saturday 20th December. 

He has journeyed a meteoric rise from a student to one of the worlds most in demand DJs in such a short space of time, absolutely tearing the raving hemisphere apart with his monster smash 'Animals' (below), before claiming headline slots at this years Creamfields, Ultra Festival in Miami and Tomorrowland. His arrival at Blackpool Rocks naturally represents a massive coup for the seaside town in what will be his only remaining headline appearance in the UK this year. 

With many more acts still to be announced in the lead up to the event, Garrix joins an all star line up compromised of Duke Dumont, Radio 1's Danny Howard, Trevor Nelson, Hannah Wants, MistaJam, Ms Dynamite and the Mambo Brothers from the infamous Ibiza Cafe Mambo hangout. 

In it's new surroundings of Blackpool Tower, this years Blackpool Rocks will have 10 rooms of music, over 20 artists and will attract over 6000 party goers to the biggest party to ever hit Blackpool shores. Head here for more on Blackpool Rocks
