Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has spoken out on the plane crash that nearly killed him saying he offered friends $1 million to kill him after he was left with severe burns.
In 2008, Barker was aboard a Learjet that crashed while taking off in South Carolina. Four out of the six passengers died, while Travis and his bandmate Adam Goldstein from TRV$DJAM survived.
Speaking to abc news in the US, Barker said that, "I would call friends of mine and go, 'You know, I'll deposit a million dollars into whoever's bank account.' [Hospital staff] had to take my phone out of my room."
He now travels on the Queen Mary II ship to international shows, something which may become more prevalent when Bling 182 have finished recording with Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba in the absence of Tom Delonge.
