Last week introduced us to Blu eCigs enthralling new series 'Freedom Of The DJ' documenting rave culture past and present in the UK. Following on from last week's insight into the roots of house music, the second episode has landed, taking a scope at Liverpool and the rise of the world renowned Cream brand in the city, which has been igniting dance music as a whole since the nineties.
Liverpool's House is packed with exclusive footage from the defining era of the city's house music scene, with interviews coming from the original pioneers John Kelly, Andy Carroll, Mike Knowler and James Barton, who discuss how they helped orchestrate the meteoric rise of dance music culture in Liverpool.
'Freedom Of The DJ' is an eight part series from Blu, produced in tandem with their monumental Blu music tour that will hit several key cities across the UK, armed with guest appearances from the likes of Gorgon City, Jackmaster and Erol Alkan. Tickets are free and obtained on a ballot basis, you can enter that here.
