With 60 DJs performing across five arenas for over 10 hours, The History of House Music will be a comprehensive journey through the last 25 years of Manchester's house music scene.

The main Bowlers arena will be hosted by world famous Classics brand Retro, who'll be bringing along some of their favourite headliners fro m the past few decades including Anne Savage, Brandon Block and Ricky Isted. The main arena line-up also boasts two live PAs from Julie McKnight and Loveland.

Arena 2 will showcase a range of homegrown Manchester talent with legends Allister Whitehaed, Dave Haslam, Jon Da Silva and Oliver Lang taking you through 10 years of the Hacienda from 1988-1998. Joining the DJs will be a live PA from Manchester's born and bred house music producers K-Klass.

Arena 3 will be flying the rainbow flag, with Dave Booth of Paradise Factory and Breakfast Club fame hosting, alongside Gaydio DJs Nik Denton and Ant Nichols. Joining them will be some familiar names from popular venues in The Village, including Alan Stevens and Little Miss Natalie, as well as Hed Kandi's Andy Daniels. Taking care of the vocals in this arena will be the uber talented Angie Brown.

In Arena 4 it's going to be all about the Old Skool, with the legendary Stu Allan at the helm. Joining the Old Skool icon will be XTC, Nipper, N-T Trance and Butty&Recca, with live PAs from Kelly Llorena and Pianoman.

And finally we have the VIP rooms, hosted by 2Risqué and Twisted Elegance's finest; Jon Fitz, Jon Besant, Pat Drury and of course Alan Hartley playing all the floor fillers from 1999 to 2006. The second VIP room will feature an array of Manchester's most successful female DJs including Jenny Harrison, Mistress De Funk and Natalie Brogan.
