The team behind iconic Bristol venues The Marble Factory and Motion have launched Document, a new creative hub for music, underground art, and experimental sound.
Set inside a former 90s warehouse, Document contains five areas - a 3,000-capacity events space Facility, artists' coworking studios, a bar and breakout space, bespoke offices, a gym, and meeting rooms for artists, freelancers and small businesses to collaborate and contribute to Bristol’s incredible creative scene.
Just a five-minute walk from Cabot Circus, the venue has already hosted Bristol events brand Alfresco Disco's huge NYE rave, and will go on to host more incredible events, including electronic events, live music, sport events, foodie fests, and more.
Speaking about Document, owner and director Martin Page said, “After the success of Alfresco Disco on NYE, we'll be building on that with a curated music series of electronic and live music that index in the more immersive and visually stimulating. There's a lot of positive energy behind Document and it's the most exciting project we've worked on since launching the Marble Factory in 2016."
It’s only the beginning for Document, but the team behind it has already promised a season of electronic and live music events that’ll ensure the venue becomes a crucial part of Bristol’s thriving nightlife.
