Bristols mesmeric light show 'Beyond Submergence' announces new dates for August

With us currently in the midst of the first month of Squidsoup's mind-boggling light show, Beyond Submergence, the exhibition at the 20,000sq ft space at Bristols Propyard has just extended its run, announcing a whole host of dates throughout August.

The exhibition is an immersive walkthrough experience which uses thousands of individual points of suspended light to create feelings of presence and movement within a physical space, creating an abstract narrative, and a gradual increase in tension which culminates in a natural climax.

Unpredictable and transitional, Beyond Submergence welcomes and consumes visitors with its magic. 

Fresh from supplying their pioneering light shows to Four Tet at Ally Pally, the experts of space, sound, scale, movement and technology, Squidsoup [on the exhibition] said: “You are about to enter a different kind of space, an experience you may not be familiar with. Take the time - before you begin, to forget the outside world - to relax and open yourself to the unexpected. Get accustomed to a slower pace, and prepare your eyes and ears, for these artworks are about light, sound, and space... allow your mind to wander, to follow through with the associations that may come to it; explore them, enjoy the evocations, feelings and memories they bring."

The new dates are available on Skiddle from today and starting at £15 for an adult ticket, they’re sure to go fast as throughout July, the word of mouth about the immersive experience will send ticket sales soaring. 

Tickets will grant you a half-hour slot to stroll and take in the illustrious surroundings of the space, draped in neon, and conveying deeply human emotions through nothing but visuals; it's a must-visit for art fans and those after an incredibly unique experience. Tickets in the links below!
