Pop-punk legends Busted are back! They’ve been announced as headliners for Colchester Castle Summer Series 2025. Performing on Friday 15th August with fellow noughties icons Scouting For Girls in support, this not only marks their return following a run of sold-out O2 Arena gigs but their first hometown Essex show in six years!

Colchester Castle Summer Series 2025, will welcome up to 10,000 fans per night to one of England’s most iconic historical venues. With such stunning surroundings, a lineup as legendary as the castle itself, and top promoters Soundcrash and Supermodified (Margate Summer Series and Cardiff Bay Series) behind it; it’s going to be the biggest music event Colchester has seen in years.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been over two decades since Busted burst onto the scene with What I Go To School For and turned every mundane classroom daydream into a pop-punk anthem. From the chart-topping hits Crashed the Wedding and Thunderbirds Are Go to the stone-cold classic that is Year 3000, Busted’s songs are the soundtrack to a generation. Add to that two BRIT Awards, 4.5 million album sales, and sold-out arena tours, and you’ve got a band who’ve earned their place in British music history.
