American rock legends Aerosmith will headline the Calling Festival, taking place on 28th and 29th June in Clapham Common. The festival, formerly known as Hard Rock Calling and having boasted the likes of Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks and Bruce Springsteen as previous guests, relocates to Clapham after previous stints at Hyde Park ad Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Aerosmith will headline the Saturday (28th), bringing their infamous guitar driven histrionics to London for a full throttle excursion through their classic hits and upcoming music. There had been a rift in recent years between frontman Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry, but that has since been healed and the group remain a potent live force (watch them slaying the stage in Singapore last year above).
They will be supported by Joe Bonamassa, Thunder and Walking Papers. Further line up announcements will be made of the remainder of the festival in the upcoming weeks. For full ticket info head here.
