Calling all mods, don your Parkas and jump on your Vespas. as the Mods Mayday Weekend three-day event returns with a whole host of bands either from or reminiscent of the beloved era.
The first day sees late 70s mod rockers The Lambrettas take the headline slot. With their first single release of 'Poison Ivy' going straight to the UK top ten back in 1980 (a The Coasters original which was also famously covered by the Rolling Stones), they gained national acclaim and landed themselves an appearance on BBC's Top of the Pops.

Headlining on the Saturday is exponents of the mod genre, The Truth. After reforming in 2012 for a one-off, sold old London show, five years later the band return to perform their 80s hits live.
The third and final headliner for the Mods Mayday Weekend is The Circles. Formed from the remnants of punk group The Injectors, the band released their second single, 'Angry Voices' in 1980 for it to sell over 20,000 copies worldwide and split only a year later. After reforming briefly in 1999, The Circles are back together to showcase the hits that they're famed for.
