Following on from last years hiatus, the intensely loved London festival Camden Crawl makes its long awaited return on the 20th and 21st of June with an astonishing cross section of top drawer acts from past and present lined up to re-assert the spectacle in the capital's conscience.

We took a closer look at some of the must see acts gracing London's coolest district a few weeks ago (read that here) with everyone from eighties pop heroes ABC (below) to hip hop and grime innovators Krept & Konan hooked in for the jam-packed weekender.

This week though we look at what a few of the venue hosts for the festival are particularly looking forward to, and their thoughts on the cultural centrepiece in general.

KOKO

"We at KOKO have always loved the Camden Crawl. Ever since first witnessing the then unsigned Klaxons play one of those life affirming kind of shows late into the night back in 2006."

"KOKO and the Crawl both kind of grew up together and we are chuffed to see it back with such a diverse and happening line up in 2014. This year we have struck gold with the acts playing here and we are especially looking forward to the Steve Mason Band and of course ABC who are made for the theatrical setting of this place. Camden Crawl - often copied, never bettered."

UNDERWORLD

"Underworld have been involved since the first Camden Crawl. This year we have Traams on day one and Wolf People on day two headlining Underworld as part of the event. Camden Crawl will involve less venues and bands this year in order to concentrate the action on the best few venues Camden has to offer."

The Black Heart

"The Black Heart is situated spitting distance from Camden Crawl HQ, so we like to think that most of the decisions on awesome bands and rad promotion has been born of a beer here or two how you’ve seen things change.

Not so much the Camden Crawl but us as a venue, we have an eye watering selection of beers and tequilas now to whet they thirst Camden Crawlers appetites who you’ve got on.

The line up every year is always so diverse, it seems to be breaking bands playing there are always going on to bigger things what you’re looking fwd to this year at your venue and any others. If ABC play ‘Poison Arrow’ (above) I guarantee I will lose my s@#t"
