The incendiary hip hop duo will play five dates in the UK this July.

Harlem twosome Cannibal Ox are one of the most respected underground artists on the New York hardcore hip hop scene, their Definitive Jux released album The Cold Vein held up as one of the finest releases during the genre's independent boom of the late nineties to early noughties.
That album came out way back in 2001, and it's taken fourteen years for them to follow it up with Blade of the Ronin (above), released earlier in March. They will now be embarking on a short UK tour this summer, which takes in five cities in total, including Birmingham's Rainbow Venues on Friday 10th July.
The duo's rich palette of sound involves dense lyrical workouts allied with crushing metal and electronic riffs to the traditional hip hop boom bap, and you can catch bring this iconoclastic aural mind blitz to the UK at the following shows:
Bristol - The Fleece, Thursday 9th July
Birmingham - The Rainbow Venues, Friday 10th July
Glasgow - The Broadcast, Saturday 11th July
Brighton - The Haunt - Tuesday 14th July
London - Scala, Wednesday 15th July
