Carl Cox returns for 5th year at On The Beach Brighton with special vinyl set

Very few DJs can claim the legendary status that Carl Cox has achieved, and the global techno titan is heading back to Brighton Beach this summer for On The Beach 2025; this time, he’s going fully vinyl. That’s right—no USBs, no laptops, just pure wax spinning under the sun. And if that wasn’t special enough, this marks his fifth time playing the famous beachside rave series, proving that he’s basically as much a Brighton Beach staple as seagulls nicking your chips.

Brought to you by On The Beach, this annual seaside rave plays host to some of the biggest names in electronic music this year, with Bonobo, Eric Prydz, and DnB Allstars (ft Hybrid Minds, Hedex, and more) all playing, as well as some huge bands like Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs. But let’s be honest - Carl Cox is the king of them all.

Known for his unparalleled technical skills behind the decks, Cox has spent decades perfecting his craft in some of the most iconic clubs in the world—SPACE Ibiza, Fabric London, The Brooklyn Mirage—the list goes on. But this year’s show is a one-off experience. He’s ditching the digital tools and going back to his roots, promising a rare, vinyl-only set that will have audiophiles and ravers alike losing their minds. With past On The Beach events selling out in record time, you already know this one is going to go the same way—especially with such a unique performance in store.

Whether he’s smashing out heavyweight techno or digging deep into house classics, Carl Cox's sets are nothing short of electrifying. Joining him will be a hand-picked selection of special guests, personally invited by the big man himself. And if previous years are anything to go by, expect a lineup bursting with talent.
