Cast Announced as Wizard Festival Headliners

Liverpool Britpop legends Cast have been revealed as Saturday headliners at 2011’s Wizard Festival.

The iconic band join fellow rock legends The Stranglers and The Saw Doctors, who are both already lined up to rock the festival’s main stage on the Friday and Saturday respectively.

Cast were a key part of the UK Britpop scene in the 90s, with debut 1995 album All Change and follow-up Mother Nature Calls spawning eight Top Twenty hits between them, and each achieving platinum status.

More acts for the Aberdeenshire festival will be announced over the coming weeks.
