Charlie Sloth brings brand-new orchestral hip-hop event to Manchester

Hip-hop, R&B, and dancehall complimented by a live orchestra? Charlie Sloth brings the heat this April.

Hip-hop DJ Charlie Sloth and YB Island have joined forces to bring a brand-new experience to Manchester’s Albert Hall on Sunday 20th April 2025 (Easter bank holiday weekend), where there’ll be performances from an orchestra and UK DJs.

Spanning the sounds of house, R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, and afrobeats, it’s gearing up to be a lively celebration of a few genres. Charlie Sloth will play a full hip-hop set blended with those classical vibes. 

Joining Sloth will be Kenny Allstar, who brings the sound of the streets straight from his Red Bull SoundClash, Birmingham’s DJ Mexy brings an exclusive R&B set, and London's DJ AG touches down for his first-ever Manchester appearance. There are also some surprise special guests who haven’t been revealed. 

All going down in the stunning Albert Hall (known for its great sound quality), it’s going to be a party to remember.
