Sweeping over this week's charts, Florence has been ousted from top spot by Muse, and Jason Derulo is still king of the singles stack for the third week running.
We widely expected Florence to fend off any competition with How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, but that has sufficed to Muse's fifth chart topper Drones (hear 'Dead Inside' from that below).Collabro continue to defy the talent show coffin at number three, while Jamie xx took a major hit presumably for his left-field stance.
Jason Derulo's 'Wait You Want Me' radio wave dominance reflects in the singles charts at number one and as the most legally downloaded. Felix Jaehn's remix of Omi's 'Cheerleader' benefits from the good weather and peaks the streaming platforms.
Wax enthusiasts are keenest for Rat Boy's 'Sign On' (above), the singer/songwriter tipped as the next Jamie T. Pye Corner Audio wade in at number two with 'Machines Are Obsolete' .
Joy Division's 'Love Will You Tear You Apart' reissued as part of its 35th anniversary, enters at number three. It comes as part of the band reissuing their whole back-catalogue on vinyl, including two bonus versions of 'As You Said' and 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'. It's also the first time both have been released on vinyl, so the rare Pennine version of 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' (above) is expectedly hot property on the collectors market.
