Festival season is in full flow which can only mean one thing - summer vibes. Clash Magazine are getting in on the action, having confirmed their second annual Summer Party, which coincides with the launch of their 104th issue.
Taking place on Thursday 29th June at East London's creative space and venue Kamio, the event will showcase an eclectic selection of the UK's finest hip hop, grime and R&B, encompassing live music and DJs until 2am.
Headliner Vanessa White (formerly known as one fifth of The Saturdays), has returned back to her roots over the past couple of years, establishing herself within the UK's R&B scene as a solo singer-songwriter.
Also on the bill are grime trio YGG (aka You Get Grime), who bring their impressive high-octane improvisation to the stage, progressive future garage DJ Conducta and enigmatic vocalist Jelani Blackman who made his anticipated return to the scene this month with acclaimed single, 'Not You'.
Radio 1Xtra tastemaker Jamz Supernova will be spinning some of the best up and coming soulful hip hop, with a DJ set from electro-pop duo Nimmo in Room 2, who alongside Clash's own DJs will be on hand to provide the best summer beats.
Doors open at 6.30pm with a free drinks reception courtesy of BrewDog Punk IPA. Clash Magazine Summer Party tickets are free from the box below but are extremely limited.
