Manchester's Venus launches into 2012 with a brand new layout and a programme of exciting events.

The city centre club has undergone a facelift to improve its overall layout, with the most recent change seeing the main room bar being moved and a new seating area being installed in its place.

This work continues the refurbishment that had already seen the DJ box moved and a new bar area added. Speaking about the latest alterations, club manager Ben Egerton said "the flow of the venue is now a lot better, and it really has catapulted us into 2012 with really positive comments from everybody who has attended the venue."

The refurbishment works came about a result of suggestions made by customers. "All the ideas have stemmed from our customers" says Ben. "Our customers and DJs agreed that the space needed a change, so we listened and the new area has been born."

And the changes couldn't have come at a  better time, with an exciting programme of parties set to take place at the newly refurbished club over the coming months that the club hopes will attract new custom.

"We have big things planned for 2012, including new Friday events which are designed to bring new faces to Venus" explains Ben. "Obviously we have worked very closely throughout our time with Greater Manchester Police, and with their direction we have managed to keep our door tight and events successful.  Our usual motto rings truer than ever... we would rather have a club half full of the right people, than full of the wrong people."
