People all over the world, join hands - because Love Train is rolling back into town. One of Manchester's longest running and beloved party nights returns to the city this month for a brand new monthly residency at Mint Lounge. The Love Train has been running since 1993 - first at Discotheque Royale (remember that?) then at The Ritz, which it packed out every Wednesday until 2009.

Now Brutus Gold and his flares-wearing, platform-tapping, night-fever dancing troupe of disco divas are back for a once monthly party at Mint Lounge - starting with a launch event this Halloween. As before, Brutus will be accompanied by legends of the show Willis Hardy Freeman (the Kung Fu master), Chad Valley (the disco detective) Carlito the percussionist and disco divas Kaye Tel and Cherry.

Expect full on disco classics all night, from Abba to Chic, Candi Staton to The Jackson Five and Barry White to Donna Summer. Fancy dress is positively encouraged - the more outrageous the better. So dig out the psychedelic prints and boogie on down.
