Cockrock reveals its biggest festival to date!

Steve Harley & The Cockney Rebel, The Bluetones and Goldie Lookin' Chain are just some of the acts lined up to play at the seventh annual Cockermouth Rock Festival.

Held on the edge of the glorious Lake District,  Cockrock is a family friendly, grass roots festival that brings three days of music, activities, workshops, dancing and camping to the Cumbrian Fells from over the weekend of the 23rd July.

For this, its seventh annual outing, Cockrock has gathered together an impressive line-up of talent, catering for all tastes with its mix of established and up and coming artists.

Acts appearing over the weekend Steve Harley and The Cockney Rebel, The Bluetones, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Jilted Generation, DJ First Rate (Scratch Perverts), Tom Hingley & The Lovers (ex-Inspiral Carpets),  Roses Kings Castles, Glover, Vanya, and loads, loads more. New to the festival for 2011 will be 'The Green', powered entirely by renewable energy Cockrock will be powered by renewable energy and host to a variety of new additions to the festival, with lots of live music and entertainment,  food stalls and cafes, workshops, ethical market, healing area and activities for families and children.
