Cocoon Recordings presents Neun - out now

Cocoon can be considered to have an undoubted presence at the pinnacle of tastemakers within house and techno, led by the founder and lord of rave Sven Vath. The label, clubnight and bastion of all things electronic and four to the floor also on occasion throws out a numbered compilation celebrating the past few months of the label, with the ninth installment, Neun, now out.

Mixed once more by Chris Titejen, it plucks together some of the biggest hits from the label in recent times, with productions and remixes form the likes of Minilogue, Nick Curly, Andre Galluzzi & Dana Ruh, wAFF and Uner all appearing.

You can stream some of the individual tracks on the Soundcloud player above, and after the mix got some serious circulation in the Skiddle office recently, rest assured it's exactly what you want to hear to get you in the mood for some high grade raving.

Which, funnily enough, is exactly what Cocoon represents. Of particular interest to us is their showcase in the summer Cocoon in the Park, which sees Vath joined by Seth Troxler, Apollonia and Enzo Siragusa on July 12th in Temple Newsam Leeds, as well as one other to be announced guest.

A day of only the finest in house and techno, the event has become the stuff of legend in its five years so far (check when we previewed the event in great detail earlier in the year), each one increasing the benchmark in quality.
