Liverpool-raised Corey James is part of an unstoppable new wave of electronic artists, conquering hallmark festivals and clubs such as Creamfields, Printworks, and Hï Ibiza, all the while releasing on seminal labels like Size, Spinnin and Armada.
Corey has worked on remix and original productions with Steve Angello, Third Party and Thomas Gold, garnering regular support on BBC Radio 1. He made his debut appearance as a special guest on Steve Angello’s R1 Residency, followed up by world premieres of his new music on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on multiple occasions.
Ahead of his set at Don't Let Daddy Know at O2 Victoria Warehouse as part of their 5-year anniversary.
David Guetta & Morten ft Aloe Blacc - 'Never Be Alone'
I love the energy in this track. It reminds me of the 2012 progressive / big room house sound but at the same time it’s super fresh. It’s working super well in all of my sets lately.
David Tort - 'Mia'
This one is so fat, I feel like it's the perfect crossover track and has a combination of sounds from different genres.
Thomas Gold & Corey James - 'Orinoco'
Although this is my own production it's been one of my favourite tracks in my sets for the past year or so and I still get thousands of questions about it every time I play it. I think it’s super unique, I love the first drop.
Mosimann & Leandro Da Silva - 'Horizon'
By far one of the grooviest tracks this year, I love the combination of vocal and horns in this. It takes me on a journey and that's what music is all about.
Camelphat x Jake Bugg - 'Be Someone'
This track is easily one of my favourite tracks of the summer, nothing but feel good vibes. I’m a big fan of both CamelPhat and Jake Bugg so when they joined up and combined sounds, I knew it was going to be special.
Steve Angello - 'Nothing Scares Me Anymore' (Corey James & David Pietras)
One of my favourite tracks ever, timeless...
Matisse & Sadko - 'Doberman'
I think this track will be taking over the clubs and festivals all year. The energy is great and production as always in Matisse & Sadko's tracks is top level. Love it.
Sebjak & Fahlberg - 'Chateau'
This one is more of a stripped back house track. I love the atmosphere and journey it takes you on, the vocal shots and wavy synths are next level.
RÜFÜS DU SOL - 'Eyes'
I’m a huge fan of RÜFÜS, this is one of my favourites recently. The way they capture pure emotion with their melodies and vocals is so good. Big tune.
Grum – 'Stay' (feat. Natalie Shay)
I love the sound design in this track, Grum is a big inspiration to me. I've mentioned music taking me on journeys and this one takes me to another planet when I'm listening, whether it be in the studio, in the gym or in the club it never fails to do the job!
