Courtney Love has launched a bizarre rant against men, saying they "turn you into a pizza".

The Hole singer and guitarist launched a number of tirades between new songs from her 'Nobody's Daughter' album and the band's older material as they played at Scotland's Glasgow O2 Academy last night (03.05.10).

She told the crowd at one point: "I really hate men, f***ing men. All they want is to f*** you then turn you into a pizza."

According to website Spinnermusic.co.uk, she also said Glasgow was the: "Only city other than Vancouver where I've crowd surfed and no one ripped my dress, grabbed my t**s or tried to f*** me."

Courtney's anti- male reaction comes in the wake of her accusation she had an affair with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale while he was with his now wife Gwen Stefani, and a number of outbursts on the internet in a long standing love/hate battle with Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan.

Hole played and expanded set list from previous shows in support of 'Nobody's Daughter' last night, including new songs 'Skinny Little B***h' and 'How Dirty Girls Get Clean' as well as a cover of Leonard Cohen's Take This Longing'.

Concertgoer Paul Anderson later posted on a fan site: "The show was brilliant, so funny. Couldn't believe they just kept playing and playing. Courtney was on top form and kept singing until her voice gave out and she got some guys on stage to sing with her. Great moments: the moment the crowd went crazy during 'Violet'; Courtney singing the last line in "Malibu" over and over until the lights followed her command; Courtney's banter about Corgan and Rossdale; Courtney playing in her underwear."
