Ever popular rave peddlers Covert go all out for the May Bank Holiday Weekend, with three huge nights landing at Sankeys Manchester on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Known for their insightful bookings delivering the freshest sounds in house, techno and bass, the well entrenched promoters are bang on the money for each of their upcoming nights.
American house DJ and Grammy Award winner Roger Sanchez presents his S-Man alias on Friday 22nd. Having recently revitalised his floor focused pseudonym, Sanchez has revelled in showcasing his dirtier, club primed leanings, with audiences responding with fervent adoration (read our interview with him here). Watch him in the mix to see what all the fuss is about. Tickets are on sale here.
Saturday May 23rd sees a line up of big hitting house, bass and tech arrive in the shape of Simma Black mastermind Low Steppa, whose weighty UK garage inspired beats always deliver on the dancefloor (check out his mix for Pete Tong above). Tech house maestro Dale Howard joins him, as does Just Jorge, Mike Lavercombe and Brian Murphy. Get your tickets here.
The triple header rounds off on Sunday May 24th with a label showcase from flagship G-House imprint Cuff. Helmed by French hip hop lovers Amine Edge & DANCE (see them in action above), expect plenty of attitude drenched, bass heavy house. Label favourites Sion and Tekla join in too, with K-Lagane and Mike Jones also amongst the support. Bag your tickets here.
