If it's funk and soul you're searching for then Craig Charles is your man (see why in his Mystery Mix below), and he's bringing plenty of it to the festive season with a multitude of parties spread across the UK right up until New Year's Eve.
The Radio Six taste maker kicks off the month in scintillating fashion at Bristol's Motion with a hip shaking funk-a-thon for the masses, featuring acid house maestros Alabama 3 rounding up their 19 date tour and genre blurring dance masters The Correspondents.
Craig next crops up in Blackpool at the Empress Ballrooms for another round of seductive grooves and uplifting funk delivered via one of his revered DJ sets. Joining him are UK soul originators and multi Grammy award winners Soul II Soul with Caron Wheeler and Jazzie B backed up by a full live band to top off a cracking Saturday night.
Work off that Xmas turkey to some delectable funk and soul as Craig Charles builds on the festive cheer and works the Shipping Forecast dance floor with some spirited funk and soul movers from his not so little box of tricks.
The funk master himself marks new London venue Brooklyn Bowl's inaugural bow on the biggest night of the year. The intimate setting located in South East London boasts an unrivalled line up of star acts including a live set from dance maestros The Corrospondants, geordie funk duo Smoove and Turrel and breaks pioneers Plump DJs crafting a sublime blend of all things groovy.
