Craig Charles welcomes Candi Staton to join his Funk & Soul Club

The voice behind some of clubland's most recognisable classics, Candi Staton, will perform at the Old Granada Studios as part of Craig Charles' Funk & Soul Club on Saturday 18th June.

Disco sensation Staton provided the vocals for some anthemic seventies and eighties hits including ‘Young Hearts Run Free’ and ‘You Got The Love', both of which have become undeniable dancefloor staples. Watch her perform live at Glastonbury below.

Craig Charles will take to the decks after Candi Staton's live performance, working his way through his seemingly neverending bag of timeless funk and soul records.

The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club sells out Band on the Wall every month and the last time Candi Staton visited, she sold out two nights at the venue.
