The countdown to festival season 2023 is officially underway as Creamfields South announces its biggest lineup to date for this year's highly anticipated second edition, set to run over the late May Bank Holiday weekend (Friday 26th - Sunday 28th May 2023).
Returning to Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, the world-renowned dance festival will throw a summer soiree the likes of which the south of England is yet to experience, delivering live performances from an exhaustive list of internationally acclaimed DJ talents.
Performing UK exclusive sets are headliners Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia and Tiësto, with Eric Prydz, Carl Cox, Ben Hemsley, Camelphat, Fatboy Slim, Andy C, Chase & Status and Annie Mac also confirmed to showcase their skills behind the decks.
Other notable names on the bill include Danish techno specialist Kölsch, UK chart toppers LF System, Gorgon City, Nina Kraviz, Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine and Dundee's 'Queen of House' Hannah Laing.
This week’s line-up announcement follows more exciting news from the Creamfields team, who look to be raising the bar once again in 2023, bringing one of the most talked about stage productions in recent years to its southern sister event; the Runway Stage presented by SHEIN.
Since making its debut at Creamfields North last year, Runway has firmly earned its place as one of the main set pieces of the UK festival scene. Loved by DJs and audiences alike, the 20,000-capacity superstructure offers a full assault on all the senses in a setting that goes far beyond a simple audio-visual set-up. The stage is set to be hosted by two of the hottest labels in electronic music at present, Paradise and Trick, with both founders of said record labels, Patrick Topping and Jamie Jones, bringing an army of talent to entertain festival revellers across the weekend.
And as if that wasn't enough, the monolithic centrepiece of the northern edition of the festival, the jaw-dropping Arc Stage will also get its first airing of the summer as it makes the journey south for its introduction at Creamfields South.
