DJ Harvey hits Manchester's Albert Hall

The always on point Red Bull Studios will be bringing the sounds of one of the most legendary DJs on the planet - DJ Harvey back to the UK this autumn, with him landing at Manchester's Albert Hall on October 24th.

Following a ten year hiatus, Harvey has been enjoying a real resurgence in his career which has in the past couple of years seen him play alongside the likes of James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem fame and Kraftwerk, whilst also restarting his production career as Locussolus and maintaining a bi-monthly residency at Santos in New York.

By the age of 13, the Cambridge born auteur was already having his records played by John Peel as part of his involvement with punk bands Ersatz and Your Dinner. He went on to discover the art of DJing in the mid eighties, becoming one of the first Britsh DJs to be found scratching and creating live edits during his sets, inspired by a trip to New York in his younger life.

Credited as one of the earliest DJs to have brought across the disco, garage and house sound form the US to the UK, DJ Harvey has over time proven himself to be a true icon of UK club culture, and recently found himself in the top 25 most influential DJs list created by U.S Rolling Stone Magazine.
