Coming top of the DJ Magazine poll is one of the most reputable compliments in the world of dance music, with thousands of fans voting, this is a personal award, ruled by those who matter most. On Saturday 18th October and Sunday 19th October, DJ Mag will be hosting their annual poll parties, presenting to crowds the newly crowned world number one (check out their voting video below).
The London event on the 18th will take place at the O2 Academy Brixton courtesy of Lock N Load, and the Manchester party the following day will take place at Victoria Warehouse hosted by Cream and Composit Music. Both events are set to be spectacular, with Hardwell, Carl Cox and Tiesto previously taking the crown, this year's headliner is guaranteed to be in the same caliber.
Joining the world's number one in Brixton is Dash Berlin a.k.a Jeffrey Sutorius, who was rated the 10th most popular DJ in the 2013 awards. Also playing are Dutch duo Showtek, whose sheer popularity and impact on the dance scene can only be described as a movement.
New additions to the line up include iconic youngster Andrew Rayel, who has become a key member of the Armada music gang and Dyro, who came in as the highest new entry artist last year. Check out the full line up here and grab your tickets from this link.
The 2014 No.1 DJ will also be playing in Manchester one day later alongside Dannic, whose music remains staple in sets of Tiesto and Avicii. Also playing will be W&W, the twosome combine the best musical elements from trance with raw electro. They are dominating dance floors with energetic sets that send crowds into frenzy.
