One of the best trends in dance music to re-emerge over the past few years is the return of the all night long DJ set, now officially 'a thing' once more in this beautiful world of rave we all love.
Seeing a DJ step outside of their usual two hours of bangers territory to delve deeper into their record bags offers us a better glimpse into their personality, with house jocks going for darker bassier cuts, ruffneck junglists dropping the tempo completely and, the best bit, seeing someone you usually see peak time warm it up as well.
They work best when it's a true master of the craft, and UKG don DJ Q definitely falls into that category. Helping the genre's Northern roots become more established, he's always been adept at pushing the sound whilst merging the disparate genres it influences and takes inspiration from, be them UK funky, bassline or house.
In total he'll be hitting up nine different cities this Autumn, playing a total of 50 hours in venues like 24 Kitchen Street, Antwerp Mansion and Sneaky Petes. Grab DJ Q All night tickets via the boxes below.
