One of the most important and influential figures in experimental and instrumental hip-hop, DJ Shadow, is back with his first full length release since 2011.
The new 12-track album The Mountain Will Fall will see DJ Shadow explore the deep samples and kinetic soundscapes that shaped the launch of his career 25 years ago.
It includes experimentation with beats and textures, synthesizers and live instruments including horns and woodwinds and features collaborations with Run The Jewels, Nils Frahm, Matthew Halsall and Ernie Fresh.
The Mountain Will Fall is out on 24th June on Mass Appeal Record. DJ Shadow will also be touring throughout the year, including one UK date at Bluedot Festival at Jodrell Bank.
