DJ Snoopadelic aka Snoop Dogg is set to play at Control in Leeds for his Official Birthday on Monday 20th October, to showcase some of his favourite music, under the alias that gives him the opportunity to show the different extensions of his personality and taste.
Back in 2012, DJ Snoopadelic released a dance mixtape called Loose Joints Vol.1 which featured tracks from French Fries and Toddla T. Dance is not a genre that is instantly associated with Snoop, but it is clear to see that it is just one of the musical passions he has adopted and explored.
His sets aren't short of hip-hop classics. Depending on the the vibe, things could be old school, or even mixed up with a few of his newer productions, he keeps things slightly unpredictable (like all the alias name changes) and fresh, and that's why crowds praise him.
It won't be the first time he's played at Control, last year he played to a packed out room of fans and absolutely blew the roof off (check out the video from the event above). And with this being his official birthday too, you can expect big things forom the hip hop impresario. You can get your tickets for this October here.
