Baltimore-raised Karizma and DJ Spen are loved for their music productions spanning deep house, deep techno, hip hop, jazz and broken beats, along with their soulful sets, which are often B2B with eachother.

Ahead of DJ Spen and Karizma's show at Gorilla on Saturday 31st August, check out the mix from the pair above, then tuck into these dancefloor weapons as picked by Karizma himself.

'Praying For You' - Jasper st. co

This is a huge track for me and has been all year long. It rocks every dance floor I've played to.

'Lessons Learned' - Neil Pierce and Hanlei

Great soulful track with great vocals and an even better song.

'Emerald Cities (Harness Remix)' - David Harness

An awesome re-work of the WiZ classic that works really well.

'Bless Me Today' - Alan Dixon

This is just an amazing track that has peak hour power. Its an absolute stomper.

'Sixth Sense (Louie Vega Remix)' - Josh Wink, Ursula Rucker

Dope work. It rocks from beginning to end.

'The Power' - Karizma

This the one that got me started and I’ve always loved this track.

'Chameleon' - The Head Hunters

One of my favourite tracks by Herbie Hancock because of his changes and it’s beautifully done.

'17 Days (Piano and a microphone version)' - Prince

It’s price in his rawest form, enough said.

'Work It Out' - Karizma

Still a very inspirational record for me. Love the reaction it gets when I play it out.

'Truth Hurts' - Lizzo

I’m a big fan of Lizzo, this track always works for me.
