At long last it seems that there is some cold, hard evidence that Daft Punk will embark on a huge tour next year.

While it makes complete sense that they would follow up their 1997 and 2007 Alive tour with another one a decade later, it now seems that the news is set to be released in the not so distant future.

Daft Punk's ALIVE website contains a timer hidden behind the I that is counting down and concludes on 27th October; which most likely means that some huge tour news will be announced on Friday 28th October. At least that's what we're optimistically telling ourselves.

A 2017 tour from the French electronic duo would only serve to fuel speculation that they will headline next year's Glastonbury festival. The last time they came to Worthy Farm was in 1997 where they played the dance tent, but it seems that next year could finally be the time they set foot upon the hallowed Pyramid.

Aside from the musique maestros, Kraftwerk have also been touted for a headline slot following news that their 3D world tour finishes in time for the Worthy Farm spectacular.
