Damnation Festival should need no introduction to the Metal fans amongst you; Since its conception in 2005, the festival has grown to become the biggest indoor metal festival in Europe, continually bringing a globe-spanning group of Metal fans to the North of England to celebrate all things hard and heavy.

Now on its 19th edition, the third in the BEC Arena in Manchester, Damnation has just released its first names for 2024, and with 1,400 tickets sold before a band was announced, there was pressure to deliver.

Well, we'll leave it up to you to decide, but securing the return of Bleeding Through with an exclusive play-through of This Is Love, This Is Murderous, as well as Nails' only UK show on top, we reckon they've done exactly that. Check out the rest of the names announced below!

Headlining the bill are the aforementioned US metalcore legends Bleeding Through and powerviolence juggernaut Nails; both of whom will be performing exclusive UK shows at Damnation 2024. Plus, to celebrate their long-awaited return to British shores, Bleeding Through will play their iconic record, This Is Love, This Is Murderous, in full.

Post-metal giants Russian Circles and death metal standouts Gatecreeper also join the first wave of bands to play the 18th edition of Damnation. Plus, The Ruins Of Beverast, Celeste, Ahab, Dool and Hexis will add a stunning mix of black metal, doom, sludge and heavy rock to proceedings. At the same time, American screamo outfit Gillian Carter make their UK debut.
