DAMNATION FESTIVAL - October 16th @ Jilly's Rockworld in Manchester.
If you have long hair, a CD collection that Satan himself would take pride in, and a faraway look in your eyes, then Damnation is probably the place for you.
Damnation is a one-day festival event held in the UK, organised for the fans, by the fans. Only in its inaugural year, the festival should prove to be a huge success in the metal scene and generally anyone with bloody good taste.
Main Stage
DAMNATION EXPANDS... And another two great bands added!
Not content with jumping in the deep end with metal pants on, the Damnation organisers have decided to go all out in their maiden year and host a two stage day of blistering metal in a bid to try and satisfy the demand for slots at this year’s event.
And taking up two of those precious places will be UK power metal favourites Conquest of Steel and Wakefield’s finest extreme act Nailed, who are fresh from supporting the mighty Nile on their recent tour.
Conquest of Steel are looking forward to their performance, they said: "As true metal warriors we are proud to announce our appearance at this year's Damnation Festival for a day of beer, spikes and true British METAL!"
Growlers, Nailed, aren’t interested in making friends, simply destroying everything in their path will do just fine. "Manchester has a lot to answer for..." is all they had to say about their appearance. Fighting talk!
They will join Panic Cell and FourWayKill on what is shaping up to be a showcase of the UK’s finest new talent.
You can rest assured that the Damnation team are working frantically behind the scenes on tickets and more band announcements which we aim to have in the bag soon.
Damnation 2005 will be held at Jilly's Rockworld in Manchester.
Ticket prices will be announced soon.
