Dance 88/99 is a new project from Sankeys' David Vincent that focuses on the culture and original music of acid house and Balearic which blossomed during the Summer of Love in those respective years.
Before Dance 88/99 begins its Wednesday residency at Sankeys Ibiza, the new club night will take over a secret venue near Manchester on Sunday 27th March with some of the DJs that played a crucial role in the development of the music of that era.
Some of the acts confirmed for the UK showcase include 808 State (listen to their seminal 'Pacific State' above) who will play a DJ set, Hacienda resident Graeme Park, Marshall Jefferson and Godfathers of drum n bass - Fabio & Grooverider. Other highlights include Terry Farley and Frankie Valentine.
