After taking a bit of a knock at the weekend it's time to get ourselves back up again as Summer begins to approach.  As we cross our toes and fingers in anticipation that the sun will come out tomorrow, we made a list of things to do with the family this weekend no matter if it does or doesn't. Here is this week, Days Out With Skiddle. 



Bridgerton Orchestral Tribute

Where: Shrewsbury Abbey, Shrewsbury

Get mesmerised this weekend with the family as The National Concert Orchestra presents a tribute to the hit Netflix show, Bridgeton. The show will feature a string ensemble from the main orchestra touring as a smaller more intimate performance. Filled with a rich arrangement of tracks from the show, a perfect calming activity with the family.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

Where: All Saints Church, Leicester

Step into a painting with the family this weekend at the Van Gogh Immersive Experience. It's a 360 journey into the Universe of a Genius. The experience is described as the equivalent of stepping into a painting, and you can get into the mind of one of the greatest artists of the 19th century.

Festival of Comedy 2024

After three years of sell-out shows, the festival of comedy returns for another hilarious day. With an incredible lineup, expect to see some familiar faces. From The Masked Singer host and fellow comedian himself, Joel Dommet, Babatunde Aleshe, Andy Parsons and many more. It'll be a day full of endless fun.

Sonic Youths

Where: Bootleg Social, Blackpool

Don't miss up on this brilliant event this weekend, at one of Blackpool's best venues. This family-friendly event is not one to miss as it has everything you need to keep the kids entertained. From local pop-punk bands, a DJ set, dance camps and so much more. It's a great way for kids to burn off some energy and perfect their solid dance moves.

Bolton Wanderers Remembrance Group Family Funday

Where: The Skuna Stadium, Atherton

This Saturday Boltons Wanderers Remembrance Group will be throwing a cracking day filled with endless full for you and the family to enjoy. They welcome 3000+ people to their grounds to enjoy a day of face paint, ice cream, Car boots, Funfair rides, arts & crafts and so much more. Plus an 11-a-side legends football game bursting with ex-football players and local celebrities.
