Rain, rain go away come back...never. We are now two days into October which means it's officially cosy season. And while we're waiting for the clocks to go back there is no better time to make the most of the present with some quality family time. So let's get into this week's Days Out With Skiddle.

The UK's largest celebration of sneakers, fashion and lifestyle is back! Celebrating their 10th anniversary the hugely popular festival will return to its original home of Camp and Furnace. Expect some unique family day out with DJ’s, global brands, panel guests and the usual drink and food.

Where: Hitchin Priory in Hitchin
A brand new immersive Halloween event heads to Hitchin this year. From Monday 21st - Wednesday 30th October expect just over a week of non-stop spooky fun, with live actors, axe throwing, fair rides, pumpkin carving, marshmallow toasting, and more. Plus some terrifyingly good street food and live music, expect to have a family day out like no other.

Comedy Festival presents Comedy Club 4 Kids

Where: South London Theatre in London
Activate that funny bone with the family this weekend as Comedy Club 4 Kids puts on a comedy show to remember. The Chorus Crew Choir - Aspire NI x SRC Music Dept
When: Thursday 3rd October 2024
Where: Southern Regional College, Armagh in Armagh
Ever found yourself fond of a bit of singing or even karaoke? Well, this Thursday you can join some like-minded people and get involved in some signing for just one night only. And no worries if you have no experience, as this is your chance to be a part of something as you learn one song, in one night all for a good cause.

Minnie Mee's Markets - Children's Market & Craft Fair Solihull
When: Saturday 5th October 2024
Where: St Mary's Church Hall Hobs Moat in Solihull
This weekend you can have some proper fun at Minnie Mee's Markets, Craft Fayre and Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Bring the whole family for a wholesome afternoon of, shopping, selling, entertainment, and activities. BBC Tiny Happy People: Stay & Play

Where: Boldon Colliery Village Hall in East Boldon
Looking to fill up your morning this weekend with some family fun? Well this Friday BBC Tiny Happy People heads to Newcastle to bring you a morning full of fun. Plus you can meet your local Health visitors, speech and language therapist, plus the Early Years team. The sessions are held to not only help you connect with your baby but also to help the development of your child.

Dewiniath by Megan Broadmeadow [Dreamy Place Festival 2024]
When: Friday 4th - Sunday 6th October 2024
Where: The Bandstand in Crawley
Enjoy the art of Megan Browadmeadow this weekend as she puts on a show filled with holographic beings. Drawing on cutting-edge magic that involves both humans and non-humans, this is an expansion and display of the use of technology. Having had her work displayed up and down the UK this is not an exhibition you'd want yo miss.

When: Saturday 12th - Sunday 27th October 2024
Where: Bell’s Gardening Outlet in Boston, Lincolnshire
England's largest and original pumpkin patch returns for 2024. With fantastic displays, you can pick your own pumpkins from two large patches, with loads of different shapes and sizes for you to choose from. You can also carve your pumpkins and get some shots for your socials. It's a fun and creative family day out for all the fam.
