Days out with Skiddle: The best experiences and attractions in the UK

This week on Days Out with Skiddle, we've had some amazing events added to the site, particularly some that will interest any foodies. We also have some comedy, sport and cinema shows for you that are all selling tickets quickly so make sure you don't miss out. It's the time of the year where we get to bonfire madness too, so expect to see some fireworks here too.

Secret Sundays - Have a Word Stand-Up Show

When: Sunday 21st November

Where: PINS Social Club, Liverpool

Adam Rowe and Dan Nightingale of the Have A Word podcast are putting on a stand-up show in Liverpool where they'll be bringing along some very special guests too. Listen to the pair go through hilarious comedic anecdotes with their chemistry that makes their podcast so successful in the first place.

Tyler Hill Bonfire Night

When: Saturday 6th November

Where: Tyler Hill Memorial Hall

Tyler Hill is hosting a huge bonfire night display this year which will be a brilliant spectacle to bring the whole family along to. There will be rides for the children to go on, a wide variety of stalls to choose from and most importantly a huge bonfire with a stunning fireworks display.

Fireworks night at Woolston Manor

When: Friday 5th November

Where: Woolston Manor, Chigwell

Woolston Manor will be another venue where a huge fireworks spectacular is taking place. So wrap up warm and maybe bring a flask with you as the night sky is illuminated before your eyes. These fireworks will be choreographed to the soundtracks of iconic movies so keep an ear out for some absolute classics.

Spooky City- Into The Woods

When: Wednesday 27th October

Where: Power League Soccer Dome, Manchester

Spooky CCity takes place at Power league Soccer Dome in Manchester and is an earlier showing variation of the Scare City events there. This immersive drive-in cinema experience features character actors walking around and a great selection of food. Spooky City is aimed specifically at kids and Into The Woods will be available to view alongside a selection of other films.

Whisky Tasting

When: Friday 10th December

Where: The Castlefield Hotel, Manchester

Take the plunge into the world of whiskey as you get to enjoy a range of flavours on the whisky tasting day in Manchester. With a wonderful selection of different flavours for you to try from fruity to nutty and peaty, you get to sample it all whilst learning why it all tastes so nice.

Halloween Party at Bunch Wine Bar

Where: Bunch Wine Bar, Liverpool

Set in a cosy and creepy cellar, Habitual have linked up with Brunch Wine Bar to bring you an unforgettable night. For their Halloween party, two scarily themed cocktails will be available with your ticket for you to get into the mood. Fancy dress is recommended and there are prizes to be won for the best dressed. Enjoy a night of dancing, drinking and spookiness.

Bottomless Pancake Brunch Film Club- Nightmare Before Christmas

When: Monday 25th October

Where: Players Lounge, Billericay

Surely there's nothing more tempting than bottomless pancakes whilst watching a movie. That's exactly what you get at this screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas where you'll be able to choose from a selection of bacon, fruit, cream and more for toppings. It's the perfect time of the year to watch Tim Burton's Halloween classic too.

Lancaster City FC vs Matlock Town

When: Saturday 23rd October

Where: Lancaster City FC

Lancaster City are taking on Matlock Town if you're looking for some live football action. This game being in the Northern Premier Division, where Matlock Town are the current league leaders. This'll be your opportunity to see whether or not Lancaster can spring an upset as they're looking to climb up the higher end of the table too.

 Move Together Presents Fight Night Cardiff Part VII

When: Tuesday 7th December

Where: VSA Warehouse, Cardiff

The seventh and biggest instalment of Cardiff's student fight night, where boxers will be going head to head to bring glory to their universities. Fight Night is part of Cardiff legend and these fighters will be remembered, as long as they're victorious. Make sure you secure your seat ringside.
