Scares and cheers are found in equal abundance in this week's Days Out With Skiddle. We have a maze for you to solve filled with horrors during Halloween, a musical based on one of the most beloved Christmas films of all time and some live comedy for when you're in need of a laugh.

Where: Woodbridge Inn, Pewsey
Here is a frightful night for you to enjoy if you really want to get into the Halloween spirit this year. There will be an earlier time slot for kids that will be a bit less scary and a later one where live actors will be looking to give you the fright of your life. There will also be an impressive pyrotechnic display.

Pre-match Legend Meal LFC vs Arsenal
When: Saturday 8th April 2023
Where: Hotel Tia, Liverpool
Liverpool will be taking on Arsenal at Anfield next April in an encounter that is always fierce. Both teams will be fighting for a valuable Champions League place. Here, you can enjoy a pre-match meal beforehand and get to meet a club legend who will be sharing stories of their time playing for Liverpool.

Where: Dominion Theatre, London
Elf is one of the all-time classic Christmas films as we follow the estranged Buddy who grew up in the North Pole with Santa after hitching a ride with him when he was a baby. Now looking to rekindle with his dad, he ends up in the foreign world of New York City. This is a brilliant take on a heartwarming film.

Do You Own The Dancefloor Film Screening and Q+A
When: Sunday 25th September
Where: Carlton Club, Prestwich
Do You Own The Dancefloor? Is a film about Manchester's fabled nightclub The Hacienda. It closed in 1997 and in 2000, 69 lots from the club were sold at auction and this is the story of what happened to all those individual pieces. Here, you can see a screening of the film and join the film-maker Chris Hughes for a Q+A.

Oktoberfest Comes to Newcastle!

Where: Boiler Shop, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Oktoberfest is always an event to look forward to every year. Where else is it acceptable to look like a mess after having quite a few pints? Well, it's a bit more than a pint with the huge steins they have and you'll be able to sink as many as you can at this event at Boiler Shop in Newcastle.

1994 Halloween Family Fun Day Rave
When: Saturday 29th October
Where: The Classic Grand, Glasgow
Get the whole family down for this one and have a good dance together. Fancy dress is absolutely a requirement for this one as they'll be playing all the scary tunes that you know and love. Split across two floors at the Classic Grand Ballroom, there are all kinds of things to do from dancing to a bouncy castle and a ball pit.

Where: The Leadmill, Sheffield
Fin Taylor is the latest brilliant comedian to be playing a set at The Leadmill in Sheffield, the city's premier destination for standup. Fin has become a favourite of Edinburgh Festival audiences and regularly sells out his shows. You'll likely have seen him make appearances on shows such as Live At The Apollo, The Mash Report and 8 out of 10 Cats.
