Where: Carlisle Cathedral, Carlisle
It is the time of the year where Carlisle is lit up in a whole range of colours. A light and sound experience, it will take you on a journey from the past to the present day. You can explore illuminated landmarks such as Hadrian's Wall and Carlisle Castle. Younger kids under 5 can go for free too.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol
When: Wednesday 14th December
Where: Samlesbury Hall, Preston
A tale that we are reminded of every Christmas, Charles Dickens' classic novel tells the tale of Scrooge, a ruthless business owner who is visited by ghosts past, present and future. At Samlesbury Hall, they have an annual Christmas theatre production and in 2022 they will be tackling this classic.

Preston Grasshoppers Annual Fireworks Display
When: Saturday 5th November
Where: Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club, Preston
An annual event at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club, their fireworks display keeps people coming back year after year. The bonfire will be lit at 7 before the impressive display begins at 8. Plenty of food and drink will be available to help you keep warm on what will be a cold November night.

Whatton House of Horror Presents Witchfinder
When: Friday 21st October
Where: Whatton House, Loughborough
Whatton House of Horror had a lot of success in 2021 with their Purgatory event. This year their scariest trail will be called Witchfinder and it transports you back to 1655 just as a plague strikes. It is up to you to find a way out of the disease-ridden land and help the Witchfinder cast out the witchcraft.

Road To Victory: England vs USA
When: Friday 25th November
Where: Depot (Mayfield), Manchester
If the Euros showed us anything it's that we love a good fan zone in England. Where else can you gather not only with your friends and family but with so many other passionate England fans? Road To Victory is one of the biggest fan zones in the country,holding up to 6000 people and you can be there to see England take on the USA.

When: Saturday 29th October
Where: St Luke's Bombed Out Church, Liverpool
There's nothing that quite says Halloween quite like a horror movie. At St Luke's Bombed Out Church they will be showing one of the scariest horror movies Hellraiser. Featuring the iconic cenobites and a tonne of gore, as people unlock a puzzle box they should have left well alone.

Where: St Martin's Theatre, London
Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap is the longest-running play in the world. Back at it again in 2023, this murder mystery is genre-defining as a group of seven strangers must figure out who is a killer amongst them. A classic story full of twists to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Digbeth Dining Club x Luna Springs Takeover
When: Friday 4th November
Where: Luna Springs Digbeth, Birmingham
Digbeth Dining Club is returning to where it started on Lower Trinity Street for a pop-up experience. 10 traders will be rotating each week in order to bring a fantastically diverse selection of food. There will be a wide choice of drinks too as well as live DJs to keep the atmosphere going.
