Bonfire Night is upon us, the time of the year when we huddle around huge fires and watch spectacular fireworks displays under the cold November sky. We have a few fireworks events to share with you on this week's Days Out With Skiddle amongst a selection of comedy, theatre, World Cup fan zones and more.

Where: Stickys Stockton, Stockton-on-Tees
You may know Simon Brodkin better as Lee Nelson, the most famous of the various characters he plays as part of his comedy routine. Remember when he handed Theresa May a P45? This is a chance to see Simon in an intimate setting as he goes through his stand-up routine.

Where: John Fisher Sports Club, Warlingham
The Warlingham Light Show goes all out to thrill people with its fireworks display that also features laser shows, music and much more to keep you entertained. A funfair will be there to offer you some thrills before the big display takes place and there will be plenty of food and drink too.

Anstey Nomads Annual Fireworks Display
When: Friday 4th November
Where: Anstey Nomads Football Club, Leicester
Anstey Nomads will be putting on their annual fireworks display and it is set to wow the crowd. Expect all the usual parts of what makes a great Bonfire Night, food stalls, music, a late bar and most importantly, a stunning display. Fireworks of all different shapes and sizes will mesmerise you.

Barton Le Clay Fireworks Spectacular
When: Friday 4th November
Where: Barton Rovers Football Club, Barton Le Clay
Barton Rovers Football Club will be celebrating Bonfire Night this year and on a cold Friday night you can get together with family and friends to enjoy a fire performance and all the simple pleasures such as a hot drink and a selection of great food. There's even ice cream at this one if that takes your fancy.

Where: Temple Arches, Leeds
Chow Down is one of the best eating-out experiences that you can have in Leeds and they have a winter village on over the Christmas period. Santa himself will be dropping by on three occasions and of course, he will be bearing gifts for all the children who visit. A festive breakfast will be served too and Santa will be having a chat with as many people as possible.

When: Sunday 11th December
Where: Britannia Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool
The Britannia Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool will be hosting a special Sunday Lunch that will feature a visit from Santa. A festive three-course lunch will be served in Jenny's Restaurant to leave you with a full tummy and Santa will have time to spend with everyone who has come to see him.

Jersey Boys is one of the longest-running shows in the West End and it follows the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as they go from New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The musical has won Grammy, Tony and Olivier awards which shows just how highly-regarded the show is.

Love Factory is the football fan's dream when it comes to fan zones. With various exhibitions and even classic kits to browse throughout the venue, it'll get you in the mood to watch the action on the big screen. Where: The Fed, Gateshead
3 massive video walls will be showing the England vs USA game at The Fed in Gateshead. They have a newly-refurbished function suite and a state of the art sound and lighting system to put you right in the heart of the action. A welcome pint will be served to you and a free pie and peas will be available too to make you feel welcome before the hype builds.
