We are heading straight into Winter now and whilst it's started to get a bit cold, we have some events across the next few months that'll definitely get you out of the house. Days Out With Skiddle brings you the best events and attractions from the Skiddle site and 2023 looks like it's going to be a good year for events.

Where: Old Fire Station, Carlisle
One of the world's best comedy clubs, the Comedy Store will be taking up a residency at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle on a regular basis throughout 2023. This should be your first stop if you're looking for innovative routines from the latest and greatest comedians. You will find heaps of hidden gems here.
New Years Eve at Herbert's Yard
When: Saturday 31st December
Where: Herbert's Yard, Birmingham
You can come and celebrate the end of 2022. The disco balls will be out and you'll be surrounded by delicious food as a range of traders aim to get your attention to make sure your taste buds enjoy the end of the year too. There will be a party spirit throughout and the kids are invited too.
The Winter Rooftop Garden With Live Jazz Band
When: Friday 16th December
Where: Jacobs Roof Garden, Cardiff
This event in Cardiff sounds like an absolute treat. Come to Jacobs Roof Garden where you'll find an escape from any cold chill and a mulled wine will be waiting for you. To make the night even better there will be a live jazz band too so you can relax in style and enjoy some Christmas treats.

Where: Depot (Mayfield), Manchester
England are through from the group stages! It was never really in doubt was it? They may even find themselves amongst the favourites from the tournament now. Their next challenge comes in the shape of Senegal who came second in Group A. They have a couple of superstars themselves.

Where: Wales Millenium Centre, Caerdydd
Strictly Come Dancing brings some magic to screens on the BBC each year but even more of that magic is captured when you see the whole thing live. Choregraphed by judge Craig Revel Horwood and starring some of the regular dancers, this will be a spellbinding experience.

Comedian Josie Long is a comedy veteran and her latest standup show has a very simple premise. It's all about re-enchantment and it sees her show becomes filled with compassion, humanity and the odd political rant here and there. It pays a testament to the changes that we make in our lives.

Tina Turner is such an iconic figure that her image is often evoked simply by saying her first name. This musical celebrates her life and her biggest hits. Following Tina from her beginnings to conquering the music industry and ensuring that her name would be remembered for a long time after she was gone.
