We hope you're getting your plans together for Easter, as w have a few family-friendly events for one of the next biggest dates on the calendar. Not only that, but we have live stand-up comedy, theatre shows and a delightful light display over in Carlisle. There's plenty here to keep you entertained for months to come.

Where: The Prince of Wales Theatre, Cannock
A long-running theatre show, Beyond The Barricades, is packed full of musical numbers that will stay in your head for weeks. It delivers some of the most memorable songs that you'll have heard from the West End, including songs from Les Mis. This isn't one for theatre fans to miss.

Where: Carlisle Cathedral, Carlisle
This Son-et Lumiere will be making Carlisle a whole lot brighter this weekend. Taking place across a trail that will go from the cathedral to Carlisle Castle, prepare to be enchanted by projections and soundscapes. Whatever age you are, you'll be immersed in wonder throughout the journey.

This is the place to go if you want to spend your Easter in style. A three-course meal will be served with plenty of options to choose from before you get a visit from the Easter bunny. He will help to start the egg hunt and judge the winner of the Easter bonnet parade, so make sure you don't forget to bring one along!

One of London's most beloved brunch events, UKG Brunch is back with a new type of session this summer. Making use of Dalston Roof Park, you'll be dancing and drinking away in the sunshine as DJs spin some Garage classics to get everyone in high spirits. It's the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.

Birmingham Craft Brew Festival 2023
When: Friday 14th-Sunday 16th July
Where: The Custard Factory, Deritend
Taking over Birmingham's iconic Custard Factory, this craft brew festival will be offering a wide range of delicious beers, ciders, spirits, wines and prosecco. Not only will you be able to taste some delightful samples but there will be a wide range of food on offer and live music too.

This is the perfect event for your kids to engage in some Easter fun. With bouncy castles, a rodeo bull, a mega slide and plenty of Easter entertainment on offer, this is a day out that they'll remember. There will also be an Easter bonnet parade and plenty of prizes to be won.

Sheridan Smith is not only a star on the screen but one on the stage too and she takes the leading role in Shirley Valentine. A lif-affirming story that sees a woman lost in marriage and motherhood go and pursue her dream, it harnasses feel-good energy and an important message that it's never too late to make changes.

The line-up for May's Cathedral of Comedy has been announced and it features an enviable list of recognisable talent. There will be routines from the likes of Lou Sanders, Lloyd Griffith, Paul Currie, Lauren Pattison and more. There's so much value for money here and it'll make for a great night out.

Dinosaurs will be roaming around in Cardiff this year, as Dinomania comes to the city. A 90-minute-long interactive dinosaur show, it is perfect for kids and those who are big kids deep down. With impressive models, it'll feel like you're in a room with the real deal.
