We have a lot to look forward to over the next few months if this week's Days Out With Skiddle is anything to go by. We have live comedy, an early chance to get your bonfire night plans sorted, a Barbie-themed brunch and a couple of Oktoberfest events too. The Saltaire Festival brings culture and comedy to West Yorkshire. At the comedy club event, they'll have LongHu, who will be fresh from an acclaimed show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He'll be delighting you with tales of growing up in China and spending life married to a communist.

It's time to talk about Bonfire Night. If you want to make sure that you've got you plans sorted well in advance then take a look at this event at Rainton Arena. A family occasion that sees an amazing firework display take place, there will be plenty of other activities such as a funfair and street food stalls.

Barbie has been a monumental success that feels like it will be one of the best pop culture moments of 2023. With so many iconic scenes and lines, it has also spawned a penchant for pink. All thing pink will be happening at this brunch where you can channel your inner Barbie and pick out your best pink outfit.

An annual event in Frodsham, their version of Oktoberfest sees them raise money for charity. There sounds like no better way to raise money for a good cause. You can grab a ticket for a day or even the whole weekend, where you'll be immersed in live music and great street food too.

Oktoberfest Comes To Sheffield

Where: Network, Sheffield
More Oktoberfest fun, this time over in Sheffield. The alcohol will be flowing and there will be good times all around as Network is changed into Bavaria for a day. This is the place to be for lovers of great beer and even better vibes, grab a stein and soak in the atmosphere.

Aberystwyth Street Food Festival
When: Friday 18th- Sunday 20th August
Where: Aberystwyth Marina
This will be three days of food-loving delight, as over fifteen traders from across the UK come together to tempt you into new experiences. Plenty of them have already been announced on the festivals social media platforms, and they all look just as delicious as the next.

Outdoor Screening: Reservoir Dogs
When: Saturday 2nd September
Where: St Luke's Bombed Out Church, Liverpool
One of Liverpool's most unique venues, St Luke's Bombed Out Church is the perfect place for you to catch a cinema screening.They will be screening the Tarantino classic Reservoir Dogs and there will be plenty of treats on offer too such as beer, hot chocolates and snacks.
