We're entering that time of the year where seasonal events are happening each month and on this week's days Out With Skiddle, we have Halloween, Oktoberfest and Christmas covered. So, you can feel no anxiety and get things sorted early, we also have plenty of other entertainment on offer too.

Where: Southport Comedy Festival, Victoria Park, Southport
Tom Davis is one of those larger than life characters who can win over pretty much any crowd. We expect that to be no problem when he performs at this year's Southport Comedy festival where he will be bringing his latest stand up show Underdog which is all about how he has done things the long way around in his life.

Where: Gwrytch Castle Preservation Trust, Abergele
It is nearly Halloween and this is the ideal event to attend if you like having a bit of a fright. Based at the castle that hosted the recent series of I'm a Celebrity, you'll be looking to escape from horrors in this interactive experience. The location is absolutely perfect to fill you with a sense of dread.

It is almost time for the August bank holiday weekend which will see us enjoying some well-earned time off. One of the best weekends of the year, make it one to remember by taking the kids to the big family day out in Lichfield where a host of tribute acts will be playing and a wide range of fun and games will be on offer.

This combines two great things, the atmosphere of Oktoberfest with the fun of a bottomless brunch. Head here for plenty of steins and an afternoon of entertainment which will have you listening to some classic hits as the party atmosphere rises and rises.
