We have some Winter-coded events coming up on this week's Days Out With Skiddle. There are two Halloween events which will provide plenty of spooky-based entertainment for the kids, as well as a Winter version of the Festival of Comedy and planty of laughs, theatre and more to keep you going for the rest of the year. Take a look at them below.
Festival of Comedy Newport- Winter Series
When: Saturday 18th November
Where: ICC Wales, Newport
The Festival of Comedy is back for a second edition in 2023 and it is bringing out some heavy-hitters to Newport. You'll see some of the most recognisable names from British comedy including Omid Djalili, Seann Walsh, Jamali Maddix and Lou Sanders. This is a packed show you can't miss.

Where: Southport Comedy Festival, Victoria Park, Southport
There's not long to go now until the Southport Comedy Festival gets underway. One of the star names is that of Jen Brister, who will be bringing her show The Optimist to Victoria Park. Fighting against her natural instincts to find some sense of optimism in the world, follow her on this journey.

Where: Bromsgrove Rugby Club, Bromsgrove
An annual event at the Bromsgrove RFC, their Bonfire Night display is always impressive and a feel-good event for the community. There will be a wide mixture of food and drink available from various traders as you experience the warmth of the fire and enjoy some live music after the big display.

Live Rubgy- South Africa vs Ireland
When: Saturday 23rd September
Where: Vauxhall Food and Beer Garden, London
The Rugby World Cup is in full swing and the fixtures are coming thick and fast. See one of the home nations in action as Ireland take on South Africa. With three huge screens, you won't miss the action here at Vauxhall Food and Beer Garden, where there will be some great food too.

Stranger Things Kids Halloween Party
When: Sunday 29th October
Where: Ten Streets Social, Liverpool
This Halloween Party will have Stranger Things as the theme, so expect to see lots of Eleven costumes. There will be a disco, party games, face painting and plenty of other fun activities for your kids to get involved with. This is a great way to spend the spookiest time of the year.

Where: Prince Edward Theatre, London
It's a hit of recent nostalgia in this new theatre performance. Based off of Gareth Southgate's time as England manager, this will focus on the way he brought a bit of hope back to the national side and helped to re-engage England fans with their side and give the country belief as they reach towards the top of the game.

Born To Be Wild Child Halloween Party
When: Saturday 28th October
Where: YES Pink Room, Manchester
Born To Be Wild Child have been putting on incredible children's parties in Manchester for a while now and you can be assured that this one will be just as good. Prizes will be handed out for the best outfits on the day, and there will be spooky party games for them to get involved in.

The latest event from Digbeth Dining Club is at the end of September and they'll be bringing it to Edgbaston. Here, you'll get to experience a wide range of food traders, who will be bringing flavours from all across the world. It's a great excuse to get together with people.

The host of the Hot Waters Green Room podcast, Jamie Hutchinson has been named the Manchester Comedian of the Year before and is definitely a name on the rise. You can watch his latest stand-up show Waterslide this November in Leeds, having already sold out two previous dates.
