Days out with Skiddle: The best experiences and attractions in the UK

With Halloween down, the next seasonal event up to bat is Bonfire night and there is no shortage events up and down the country for you to attend. As well as some impressive fireworks displays, we have Christmas events and comedy for you to browse on this week's Days Out With Skiddle. 

 

Warlingham Fireworks Display

When: Saturday 4th November

Where: John Fisher Sport Club, Warlingham

Warlingham are going all out this Bonfire night as the John Fisher Sport Club light up the sky and brings out a selection of amazing tunes too. There will be live singers as well as DJs to keep the god vibes going. There will also be a funfair, sweets, candy floss, inflatables and  more.

Redditch Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Club Fireworks Display

When: Friday 3rd November

Where: Redditch Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Club, Redditch

Redditch Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Club's annual fireworks event will involve two displays. The first one will be a quieter display for younger children and the second will be longer and louder for older children and adults. Come on in and grab some hot food whilst you wait.

Garden of Eden Christmas Party Night

When: Saturday 2nd December

Where: The Shankly Hotel, Liverpool

Liverpool's Shankly Hotel will be hosting a three course festive dinner at the start of December, which will then turn into a Christmas-themed party with a DJ playing until 1am. It'll be the perfect way to get into the seasonal spirit.

Hansel and Gretel

When: Friday 8th December 2023 - Sunday 7th January 2024

Where: Shakespeare's Globe, London

An epic new version of the Brother's Grimm fairy tale, Poet Laureate Simon Armitage will be transforming Shakespeare's Globe this winter. Follow the siblings as they are tempted by a trail of treats and a starnge old lady with a hidden motive.

Christmas Family Fun Day Rave

Where: The Classic Grand, Glasgow

The Family Fun Day Rave is back at The Classic Grand and this time around it will be a hosting a Christmas special just in time for the Christmas period. Get your young ones excited right at the start of December by bringing them to this party which will feature all sorts of activities such as bouncy castle's, party games and even a raving Santa.

Closeup Comedy at Herberts Yard with Paul McCaffrey and More

When: Wednesday 1st November

Where: Herberts Yard, Birmingham

The latest instalment of Closeup Cmedy, one of Birmingham's favourite comedy nights, will see Paul McCaffrey, Freddy Quinne, Michael Akadiri and Danny McLoughlin take to the mic to leave you in stitches. It's a great evening of entertainment that awaits you.

Better Days at The Yard, Manchester + The After Party

When: Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th April 2024

Where: The Yard, Manchester

This is a one-man show that lit up this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It follows the story of a 19 year old who stands at the crossroads of House music and football violence. It perfectly encapsulates that era of British history into a moving story.
